What is Brampton NEXT, really?
Brampton NEXT is a 14-week, fully funded program designed specifically for international students and newcomers in Canada who want to explore entrepreneurship or launch their startup and settle in Canada. It’s more than a startup program : it’s a guided, supportive launchpad where you can turn your idea into something real. Or, if you don’t even have an idea yet? No problem. They’ll help you find the spark.
The program runs in a hybrid format, which means you get the flexibility of online support plus the energy and community of in-person workshops in Brampton. Whether you’re building a tech tool, launching a fashion brand, or developing an app to solve a problem in your home country, you’ll be surrounded by people who get it, mentors, coaches, and fellow students walking the same path And here’s the bonus: your incorporation fee is covered, and you get an office space in startup environment.

Business Building and Settlement Support for International Students
This isn’t a solo hustle. One of the most powerful parts of Brampton NEXT is the community you join. From day one, you’ll be part of a network of international students and recent grads who are just like you, ambitious, creative, and ready to build.
You’ll also be matched with experienced mentors who’ve built businesses before and understand the unique challenges of being a newcomer. They’ll work with you 1-on-1 to shape your business idea, practice your pitch, refine your brand, and give honest feedback, not just “you’re doing great” fluff. And those mentors? They stick around even after the program ends.
Expect networking events, site visits, coffee chats, and maybe even your first “I can’t believe I’m doing this” startup moment.
